PKZM0-10/SP Eaton Motor Protective Circuit Breaker

The PKZM0-10/SP is a Moeller three-phase manual motor protector using thermal and magnetic trip mechanisms for complete overload and short-circuit protection of motors and branch circuits. Its thermal adjustment covers 6.3–11 A, while its magnetic trip is set at 140 A. The device carries a UL/CSA motor horsepower rating of 3 HP at 230 V and 7.5 HP at 460 V. UL-listed and CSA-certified as a Type E self-protected combination controller, it combines overload, short-circuit, disconnect, and controller functions in one unit, removing the need for external fuses or breakers. The marking “Suitable for group installations” follows NEC 430.53 and CEC Rule 28-206. It helps optimize cost and panel space in control assemblies. It can also operate with magnetic contactors for remote control and is approved as a Type E starter on grounded Wye systems above 240 V.
