MSC-DE-12-M17(24VDC) Eaton Motor Starter

The MSC-DE-12-M17(24VDC) is a 3-pole, 12A direct-on-line motor starter compliant with IEC/EN 60947-4-1 and VDE 0660. It combines a PKE12 motor-protective circuit-breaker and DILM17 contactor in a pre-assembled unit. Overload protection is adjustable from 3–12A; short-circuit release is non-delayed at 168A. Motor rating support includes up to 5.5 kW at 400V AC-3 (11.3A) and up to 5.5 kW at 500V AC-3 (9A). Short-circuit current withstand is 100kA at 400V and 50kA at 500V. Actuation uses 24V DC. Protection class is IP20. Coordination types supported are type 1 and type 2. The starter is compatible with IE3 motors and SmartWire-DT ready when equipped with an optional communication module.
