MSC-DEA-12-M17(24VDC) Eaton Motor Starter

The MSC-DEA-12-M17(24VDC) is a 3-pole direct-on-line motor starter rated for 12 A with adjustable thermal overload protection spanning 3–12 A. It combines a PKE motor-protective circuit-breaker and DILM17 contactor in a single unit. Rated operational current is 11.3 A at 400 V AC-3 and 9 A at 500 V AC-3, supporting motors up to 5.5 kW at those voltages. Short-circuit withstand capacity is 100 kA; instantaneous magnetic trip occurs at 168 A. Coordination meets both type 1 and type 2 requirements per IEC/EN 60947-4-1. Control voltage is 24 V DC. Terminal connections are screw-type; enclosure rating is IP20. The device is IE3-ready and complies with IEC/VDE standards. SmartWire-DT communication capability is available via optional module.
