170M6419-IEC-UL fuse-Bussmann

170M6419, a Bussmann IEC- UL high speed fuse for semiconductor protection. 1000AMP, 690VAC.

Semiconductor protection fuse, also known as fast acting fuse, is used for semiconductor device protection. Such as silicon rectifier (2CZ) or controlled silicon (3CZ) for short-circuit protection.

To check if this semiconductor fuse  could be used in DC or AC circuit, it depends on the standard it base on when fuse manufacturing.

Such as 170M1369, it's normally be used in AC circuit as it specified in fuse label;

But for 170M1810, It's an IEC fuse with 1000VDC. specially design for DC circuit.

The fuse body is divided into AC and DC, AC fuse body voltage symbol AC, DC fuse body voltage symbol DC.When selecting fuse block, AC and DC should select different fuse block.
